Is Adult Day Care for You?

Adult day care offers a warm, friendly and stimulating health care environment that assists a health impaired adult to live independently in the community. Participants enjoy recreational activities, socialization opportunities, and wholistic plans of care.The North Dorchester Adult Medical Day Care, Cambridge South Dorchester Adult Medical Day Care and Talbot Adult Medical Day Care Centers are part of the community working to meet the needs of persons of all ages. Participation may be scheduled according to individual/family needs.

Assistance with the administration of physician ordered medications or treatments.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Individual counseling with professionals and caregiver on behalf of the participant.
Social, recreational, educational and therapeutic activities.
Exercise and rest.
Health screening and monitoring.
Personal care.
Transportation.
Social services, counseling and referral.
Family support and respite for the caregivers.
Physical, occupational therapies and arrangements for other services.
1. Who is eligible?
Any Dorchester County resident from 16 years or older with physical, emotional or any health related problem.

2. Where is the Center located?
The North Dorchester Adult Medical Day Care is located at 6210 Shiloh Church - Hurlock Road, Hurlock, MD (formerly Hurlock Elementary).

The Cambridge South Dorchester Adult Medical Day Care is located at 2450 Cambridge Beltway, Cambridge, MD.

3. What is the cost?
Fees are determined on an individual basis. Some financial assitance may be available.

Operating days and hours:
Monday through Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
