Delmarva Community Services, Inc. began providing Adult Medical Day Care Services in 1994. This program enables medically frail individuals to remain in their homes and out of long-term care facilities by providing daytime supports. Specifically, persons attending our adult medical day care facility enjoy socialization opportunities, recreation, personal care, counseling and nutritious meals while under the care and monitoring of skilled nursing staff and social workers. Assistance with administration of physician ordered medications and treatments are provided.

Individuals 16 years of age and older with physical, emotional, or other health related problems may qualify for adult medical day care.

Fees for this service are determined on an individual basis. Some financial assistance may be available.

Transportation to the adult medical day care facility is provided.
