Senior Services  & Local Senior Centers

DCS offers two Senior centers in Dorchester County operated in Hurlock and Cambridge MD.
Regular scheduled congregate meals and Home-Delivered meals are available through the nutritional program. Senior centers are open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday.

Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

DCS provides residential, day, and vocational services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Community Action Agency

The Community Action Agency is located at 1000 Goodwill Ave. in Cambridge MD serving individuals living with poverty through programs such as homeownership and foreclosure counseling, tax preparation, food pantry, housing coordination.

Transportation & Mobility

The division of Delmarva Community Transit operates rural transit networks in four Eastern Shore Counties including Kent, Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester. One-Stop centers can help folks access the public network, and connect rural residents with work, medical service locations, and vital social services.
