DCS addresses the needs and desires of individuals with disabilities by providing employment, educational, social, and life skill opportunities. Individuals, their families, staff and representatives of the Developmental Disabilities Administration meet together to plan goals and strategies to help the person find success. Some individuals earn wages through contractual work as part of DCS work crews hired to clean and maintain local churches and businesses. Some of our clients need to learn or perfect life skills such as cooking, grooming and communicating, while others need direct one-to-one care and supervision. DCS is always looking for and welcomes new opportunities for employment for our clients.
