Learn More about the Nutrition Program ![]() Meals-on-Wheels:
Older persons need proper nutrition to maintain good health. The Home-Delivered Meal Program, better known as "Meals on Wheels," provides a life-giving service to the homebound elderly who are confined to bed, lack transportation, or are too frail to cook for themselves. While delivering meals, the driver serves as a link to other community services and resources. The regular visits also provide reassurance and alleviate some of the anxieties of those elderly persons who live alone. Meals on Wheels is supported by the United Way. |
